# FuturEvo Cue

> FuturEvo Cue is a free, professional teleprompter by FuturEvoLab that runs locally in the browser with no account required. Scripts, settings and recordings stay on the user's device. UI in English, 中文 and 日本語. Current version: v0.8.0 (updated 2026-11-07).

FuturEvo Cue（中文：专业口播提词器；日本語：プロ向けプロンプター）is built for talking-head video, short-form video (TikTok / YouTube Shorts / Reels), live-stream intros, online courses and voice-over. The only networked feature is optional voice follow, which sends audio to the browser vendor (Google / Microsoft) for speech recognition after explicit consent; script text is never uploaded.

## Key facts

- Price: Free plan forever (personal and commercial use). Pro: coming soon. Studio: coming later.
- Platforms: Windows / macOS / Linux desktop browsers and mobile browsers; installable as a PWA and works offline.
- Privacy: no sign-up, no script uploads, data stored in the browser / on the device.
- Recording format: MP4 in Chrome / Edge when available, otherwise WebM; 16:9 original or 9:16 portrait crop; SRT subtitles exported together.
- Languages with tuned typography and read-time estimates: Chinese, Japanese, English (any other language can be prompted).
- Clicker / foot pedal: PageUp / PageDown jump paragraphs; B or the period key toggles play.
- Teleprompter glass: turn on horizontal mirror for beam-splitter glass.

- Phone second screen and remote via QR code (play, speed, jump, font size, record)
- Voice follow (Beta): text follows what you say, even when skipping or repeating lines
- CJK-aware typography for Chinese, Japanese and English
- Mirror / flip, portrait mode, script markers (emphasis, pause, cut, note), ⌘K command palette, practice reports
- 9 dark themes: Noir Gold, Matrix, Cyberpunk, Midnight, Graphite, Crimson, Aurora, Amethyst, Ember
- Import txt, Markdown, Word (.docx), PDF and SRT
